2025 Ford Bronco vs 2025 Jeep Wrangler

• 2025 Ford Bronco trims range from $39,890 to $77,530; the 2025 Jeep Wrangler’s offerings are from $33,990 to $102,000. Prices are effective as of March 31, 2025.
• There’s been talk of a hybrid Bronco for a while, but unfortunately, not for this model year.
• The Ford Bronco’s non-diesel engines are more powerful than the Wrangler’s equivalent offerings.

Potential Ford Bronco owners rejoice—your engine options are outstanding when it comes to power and performance. 2025 Broncos feature:

• A standard 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 300 horsepower as the base engine option; or,
• An optional twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 generating 330 horsepower. (This engine is standard on Outer Banks and Heritage Edition trims)

Engines are paired with a standard 7-speed manual transmission or an available 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Wrangler’s engine options aren’t all as powerful as the Bronco’s offerings. It comes with:

• A standard 3.6-Liter Pentastar V6 delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque and paired with a 6-speed manual transmission;
• An available turbocharged 2.0-Liter Hurricane 4 I4 generating 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and paired with 8-speed automatic transmission; or,
• An optional 6.4-Liter HEMI V8 making horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Sure, the Wrangler has an extra, more powerful diesel option, but when the rubber meets the road, the Bronco is more powerful overall.

For the newest Bronco, the Base trim that was discontinued in 2024 was reintroduced, and the 70s-inspired Free Wheeling appearance package has also been added. Spending time on the trail? The Sasquatch off-roading package is now available with high-clearance fender flares, a raised suspension, mud-terrain tires, and upgraded Bilstein shock absorbers.

Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition trims were discontinued for 2025; however, Black Diamond lives on as part of the Big Bend’s package options.

Other changes include:

• 12.0-inch driver display and footwell ambient lighting as standard
• 35-inch Goodyear Territory rugged terrain tires for Sasquatch-equipped trims
• A Black Appearance package
• A standard heated steering wheel for the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Raptor trims
• A Stroppe Special Edition two-door performance model
• An available HOSS 3.0 suspension and FITS tether system for the Badlands
• Additional sound insulation, and an available 12-speaker B&O sound system
• Center console rear vents in four-door, 10-speed automatic models
• Matte Clear Film paint protection

The 2025 Wrangler features newly standard power locks and windows across all trims with an available Active Cabin Ventilation to pre-ventilate the cabin remotely. The Wrangler’s Uconnect 5 system also now allows for the connection of two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Trim-wise, the Rubicon X’s Premium Cabin Package offers a quieter, more comfortable ride on the trail.
